Water Well Drilling Attentions
1. The drilling unit must first drill holes, take samples and draw the drilling profile structure diagram (histogram).
2. According to the histogram: geological structure, the upper pipe and filter pipe of the well shall be made, and the drilling diameter shall not be less than 300mm.
3. After the well is drilled and the pipe is laid, the backfilling amount of filler shall be 1.8-2.0 m3, and it must be ensured that the outside of the well pipe wall is more than 70 mm. The filter material is siliceous sandy pebble without impurities. It is better to mix according to the pebble particle size (20-40mm). During filling, materials shall be fed layer by layer manually. It is strictly prohibited to backfill filter materials mechanically and soil into the well. Gravel filling method: generally, circulating water or still water is used for gravel filling. If the filling quantity and height of filter material are greatly different from the plan, find out the reasons, deal with them properly, and record the filling results.
4. After well completion, the well pipe shall be vertical and not inclined.
5. The polyethylene plastic pipe wall of the well pipe is 8mm thick. The well pipe adopts a drilling filter. The drilling hole is 18-20mm, and the drilling rate is not less than 25%. The well pipe shall be overlapped and the filter screen shall be fixed. Screw joint is adopted for well pipe lapping and drilling φ 8mm hole, mounting φ 10mm screw. The mesh of the filter screen is about 25 mesh, and the filter screen is wrapped in 2 layers.
Why not suitable for rainy days?
After the well is completed, it is necessary to pump water to check the results. Under normal circumstances, a large drawdown pumping can be done. The stable duration of the water level shall not be less than eight hours, and the water flow of the dynamic water level of the well shall be measured at the same time. The well drilling project shall ensure the smooth drainage of the construction site, so the rainy season shall be avoided. When working while excavating, the excavation slope shall be determined according to the physical and mechanical properties of the soil layer, generally 1:1.5, and there shall be a certain distance from the toe of the spoil slope to the upper opening of the excavation. For large wells with water inflow from the shaft wall, the water inlet hole and inverted filter layer of the shaft wall must be arranged according to the design requirements, and the water inlet hole shall be prevented from being blocked during construction. The filter material enclosure at the aquifer shall meet the requirements, the backfill shall have a certain superelevation, and the frozen soil in the backfill in winter shall not exceed 15%.
