1. Single layer core pipe

2. Double core tube

The double-layer core pipe is formed by adding a core containing pipe (inner pipe) to the original core pipe (outer pipe). According to whether the inner pipe rotates during drilling, it can be divided into two types: double acting and single acting:

Double layer double acting core tube (double acting double tube) - the outer tube rotates and the inner tube also rotates.

Double layer single acting core tube (single acting double tube) - the outer tube rotates but the inner tube does not rotate.

The double-layer core pipe can isolate the scouring effect of the washing liquid on the core. Double acting double pipe water isolation without vibration isolation, used for soft, loose and easily eroded formations; The single acting double pipe can isolate water and vibration, and the scope of application is more extensive.
